ROLE

We are seeking a skilled iOS Software Engineer to join our talented team. In this position, you will engage in various software development projects, focusing on writing efficient and reliable code while developing, maintaining, deploying, and supporting high-quality software systems. Your contributions will be vital in fulfilling business requirements and aligning with organizational objectives as a valued member of the Ocado Technology team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance the mobile iOS application with a primary focus on new features.
  • Create and maintain automated test suites to ensure software quality.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to achieve business goals.

DEPARTMENT

The Ecommerce department is dedicated to crafting exceptional shopping experiences for our retail partners' customers, equipping them with tools that enable personalized omni-channel interactions. Our innovative technology ensures an optimized and profitable checkout experience, minimizing abandonment rates and enhancing order processing efficiency.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will actively participate in all phases of the systems development life cycle, including:

  • Requirements analysis.
  • Software and data design.
  • Software construction (coding).
  • Deployment of production-ready code.
  • Maintenance and support of existing systems.
  • Investigation and resolution of production issues.
  • Performance optimization.
  • Code review and change control.
