The team in Berlin is looking for its first IT Operations Manager to take charge of all aspects of corporate IT, from hands-on office support to maintaining compliance with ISO 27001 standards.
Role overview
This position covers the full spectrum of IT operations. The IT Support Manager will ensure the Berlin office runs smoothly, handling everything from hardware setup to network management. Device security, access governance, and compliance are central to the role. This is a hands-on job, ideal for someone comfortable with both technical troubleshooting and compliance audits.
What you will do
- Equip every employee with a secure and reliable working environment from day one.
- Support the security and compliance frameworks that build trust with institutional clients and investors, focusing on operational execution.
- Implement and maintain access controls, device management, and audit-ready documentation to support company growth through Series B and beyond.
- Protect sensitive fund and LP data through identity management, endpoint security, and vendor access protocols.
- Deliver a seamless security experience for employees, removing barriers while maintaining high standards.
Key responsibilities
Helpdesk and hardware management
- Procure, set up, monitor, and offboard employee devices including laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
- Handle daily IT support such as software installations, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and account management.
- Maintain the hardware asset inventory and manage device refresh cycles.
- Set up and maintain audiovisual and conferencing equipment in meeting rooms.
Security and compliance support
- Support ISO 27001 compliance by executing operational tasks, while strategic governance and risk management are overseen by Engineering leadership.
