About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our team!
In this vital role, you will ensure the seamless operation of our IT systems while providing top-notch technical support to our staff. Your efforts will enhance our capacity to deliver exceptional engineering services across diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues via phone, email, or in person.
- Address hardware, software, and network problems efficiently.
- Document and manage all support requests through our ticketing system.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems and applications.
- Set up and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
- Manage IT asset inventory and conduct basic system updates.
- Adhere to company IT policies and security best practices.
- Assist users with troubleshooting engineering-specific software.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience and certifications).
- 3-6 years of experience in IT support.
- Proficient in Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking concepts.
- Experience with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing your workload effectively.
- Willingness to learn IT support for engineering-specific software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform scripting.
- Familiarity with endpoint security tools and basic troubleshooting techniques.
