KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Assess requirements, conduct research, evaluate vendors and solutions, design and implement technology solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. Establish standardized solutions across SpaceX for software, configurations, and processes. Introduce tools and processes for efficient operational management, including change management, monitoring, incident management, and customer requests. Maintain a security-centric approach in decision-making and exhibit meticulous attention to detail. Create and execute a strategic project roadmap that leverages innovative technology, tools, automation, and processes with your team. Engage with internal customers, providing timely solutions and resolving issues proactively, acting as the primary liaison between IT and customers. Participate in technical decision-making processes and provide guidance to your teams. Play an active role in crisis management, demonstrating ownership and clear communication with stakeholders. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 5+ years of experience in IT operations or DevOps engineering, or 7+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.4+ years of experience managing IT teams in a high-demand environment.

IT SYSTEMS MANAGER (APPLICATIONS & OPERATIONS)
