Impact You Will Have

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) plays a critical role in the advancement, implementation, and continuous improvement of the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) architecture. This effort focuses on delivering innovative and disruptive technologies, ensuring that geospatial data and services are efficiently provided to support forward-deployed warfighters. Your work will contribute to the rapid identification and deployment of these technologies, enhancing analytic capabilities to optimize the detection, collection, processing, characterization, exploitation, and dissemination of GEOINT to our mission partners.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive support both within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS), including training delivery, instructional tradecraft development, user engagement, systems maintenance, and advanced data analytics to facilitate worldwide Joint Regional Edge Node (JREN) deployments.
  • Facilitate meetings, gather stakeholder feedback, and create presentations to promote awareness and utilization of JREN capabilities among potential users.
  • Collaborate with other mission partners as directed to ensure full exploitation of all NGA-related capabilities.
  • Conduct market research to assess Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) tools, evaluate Research and Development (R&D) prototypes, and explore previously utilized component technologies that can minimize transition timelines, costs, or development risks while employing agile approaches in R&D and component integration.
  • In an engineering support role, bring operational and analytical insights to ongoing tool development activities, which may include testing, data integrity assurance, help-desk support, operations and maintenance, and mission engineering assistance.
