CGS Federal is actively looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our innovative team focused on enhancing data utilization for a significant state-run initiative. The successful candidate will play a key role in aggregating data from multiple existing sources and will be responsible for designing comprehensive plans to efficiently collect, process, store, and report this data.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to create robust software designs
- Provide work estimates to project managers, offer regular status updates, and track progress against project plans
- Develop program specifications and basic prototypes
- Transform designs and specifications into high-functioning code using Java
- Integrate software solutions into higher-level systems
- Utilize web-based tools to create and enhance applications
- Conduct code testing to ensure optimal performance and debug issues as needed
- Work collaboratively with business, development, and QA teams to establish testing and acceptance procedures
- Implement upgrades to improve software security and efficiency
- Partner with business analysts to provide user training, knowledge transfer, and documentation support
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing Java web applications with Java Server Faces Framework
- Strong expertise in large-scale enterprise systems
