Role overview
This position focuses on guiding residential projects from concept through construction. The Job Captain ensures design intent carries through to construction and permit documents, working closely with the founding partners and outside consultants. Projects vary in scale and scope, always tailored to client needs.
What you will do
- Oversee project delivery, translating design concepts into detailed construction and permit-ready documents
- Manage and organize drawing sets throughout all design and construction phases
- Coordinate with consultants and maintain close collaboration with the partners
- Participate in every stage of the project, from initial ideas to on-site execution
Requirements
- Background in single-family residential architecture preferred
- Strong grasp of interior architecture, including spatial planning, materials, lighting, and detailing
- Technical ability to develop and manage construction documents
- Comfort working collaboratively within a small, hands-on team
