Job Overview:
We are in urgent need of a dedicated IT professional to join our technical services team for an international client. This role focuses on 1st Line Support, where you will tackle technical issues and provide assistance across various hardware and software platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve issues related to laptops, desktops, and networking, communicating with users as necessary.
- Provide support and maintenance for application software to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist in the technical implementation of PC hardware applications tailored for user environments.
- Ensure compliance with change control guidelines, procedures, and methodologies during software/hardware implementations.
- Manage incident and service request resolutions, including hardware component changes.
- Support service requests and incidents originating from other teams, including distributed servers and printers.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and hardware repairs.
- Oversee installation, moves, additions, changes, and disposal (IMACD) services.
Key Duties:
- Installation: Provide ready-to-use computers, install hardware, conduct software license migrations, execute performance tests, and secure user approval.
- Move: Safely disconnect and package equipment for transport, then reconnect and power up at the destination.
- Change: Execute equipment changes and conduct performance tests to guarantee operational efficiency.
