Reports to: Tool and Die Supervisor
Job Purpose: The Tool & Die Machinist is responsible for the repair and maintenance of dies, punches, tool steel, and fixtures, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed inspections and precise measurements to assess the repair needs of dies.
Execute repair operations on dies and related tools efficiently.
Set up and operate standard milling machines, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other machine tools under general supervision.
Design and fabricate tools and fixtures for new product development.
