About the Role of Multilingual Learners Teacher
KIPP Chicago is looking for Bilingual Multilingual Learners Teachers who are fluent in Spanish and hold the necessary licensure to support English Learners with direct instruction and additional resources within the general instructional program. This role is crucial in ensuring that students maintain academic progress in core subjects while developing English proficiency in line with their individual ACCESS goals.
With eight campuses across the city, our Elementary Schools serve grades K-4 and our Middle Schools serve grades 5-8. As a candidate, you will be considered for openings at any campus that aligns with your experience.

Instruction and Assessment
Craft individualized learning plans based on ACCESS language test results, developing differentiated lesson plans to enhance English language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Conduct English as a Second Language lessons with small groups to enhance students' English proficiency.
Provide bilingual instruction as needed to support English Learners.
