Key Responsibilities:
Install and commission a variety of mechanical equipment, such as pumps, compressors, air dryers, and heat exchangers
Prepare piping systems for welded joints and perform fit-ups
Collaborate effectively with other trades, consultants, and suppliers
Maintain and clean condensate traps and equipment strainers
Provide mentorship and training to junior team members
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to establish layout requirements
Utilize hand and power tools to cut openings in walls, floors, and ceilings for piping
Measure, cut, and bend pipes according to specifications
Join pipes using threading techniques and fabricate piping system sections
Install supports, valves, controls, and piping systems
Conduct leak tests on the installed systems
Perform additional tasks as required
