Core Responsibilities:
Instructional Delivery and Assessment
- Design or adapt year-long, Missouri State standards-aligned unit and lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of all students.
- Utilize assessment data to refine both short-term and long-term instructional strategies to enhance all students’ academic performance.
- Embrace constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain precise student records and data tracking systems.
Academic and Cultural Support
- Take personal accountability for student achievement.
- Work collaboratively with grade-level and content teams to cultivate an environment centered on critical thinking and academic excellence.
- Build and sustain trusting relationships with students and their families.
- Engage in essential school activities such as morning, lunch, and afternoon supervisory duties.
- Participate in vital school events including staff meetings, open houses, and student-led parent conferences.
- Meet professional obligations consistently, ensuring timeliness and reliability in fulfilling deadlines.
- Model and promote the school’s cultural expectations.
