Core Responsibilities:
Instructional Delivery and Assessment
- Design or adapt year-long, Missouri State standards-aligned unit and lesson plans that address the diverse learning needs of all students.
- Utilize assessment data to adjust both short and long-term instructional plans to enhance student academic performance.
- Welcome and integrate feedback as part of a culture of continuous improvement.
- Keep accurate records, including grades and data tracking systems.
Academic and Cultural Support
- Take personal responsibility for the academic success of each student.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to foster a learning environment that encourages critical thinking and academic rigor.
- Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with students and their families.
- Engage in daily school activities, including supervision during morning, lunch, and afternoon shifts.
- Participate in essential school events such as staff meetings, open houses, and student-led parent conferences.
- Fulfill professional responsibilities by adhering to deadlines and maintaining punctuality.
- Model and uphold the expected cultural norms of the school.
