DCI is on the lookout for a motivated entry-level public affairs professional to join our dynamic team in Washington, DC. This in-person role emphasizes collaboration and requires candidates to have a solid understanding of the public policy process, coupled with exceptional writing and communication abilities. The successful applicant will need to consistently apply discretion and independent judgment while managing a variety of responsibilities, which include, but are not limited to:
- Creating compelling content and deliverables for internal teams and clients
- Tracking and compiling daily media clips for distribution to clients and internal stakeholders
- Overseeing website management and generating engaging content for social media platforms
- Coordinating and managing client events and meetings
- Conducting research to grasp client public policy issues and objectives
- Fostering effective communication with team members
- Meeting deadlines while ensuring all outputs are client-ready
- Preferred proficiency in social networking tools
- A demonstrated passion for a range of public policy issues
