About the Categories and Expansion Team
The Categories and Expansion team at Whatnot plays a crucial role in broadening our category offerings and ensuring the continuous growth of sellers and buyers on our platform. Our sales team is dedicated to identifying, launching, and cultivating relationships with high-potential sellers.
Role Overview
As a French-speaking Account Executive, you will champion the growth of Whatnot’s offerings by acquiring and nurturing new livestream sellers. You will manage your own portfolio, overseeing the complete sales cycle—from pitching and onboarding to providing strategic coaching and facilitating growth. Your primary objective will be to consistently meet or surpass sales targets by effectively managing your pipeline. Your responsibilities will include:
Gaining a thorough understanding of our end-to-end sales process and collaborating with the team to attract high-potential sellers to Whatnot
Becoming the trusted expert on how small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), particularly those with an online presence, can scale their operations through Whatnot
Sourcing and prospecting potential sellers, organizing initial discovery and onboarding calls
