The Role
As our Account Executive, you will spearhead the go-to-market strategy for Tyba's Project Simulation product. You will engage with project developers, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms assessing battery storage and renewable energy initiatives. Your expertise will demonstrate how Tyba's platform surpasses traditional spreadsheets and outdated tools.
This is a unique opportunity in an early-stage sales environment. We seek a driven individual who thrives on building processes from the ground up. You will collaboratively define the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), refine messaging, and establish a repeatable sales process alongside our Director of Sales and founding team.
Your contributions will be vital in laying the groundwork for Tyba's expanding commercial organization, as you develop and manage your territory while introducing transformative technologies to an industry in urgent need of fresh solutions.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers regarding Tyba’s platform and the energy industry.
- Perform discovery calls, presentations, and demonstrations for diverse audiences, including C-level executives.
- Identify growth opportunities within our existing customer base and secure new accounts.
- Drive pipeline generation through outbound prospecting, participation in industry events, and leveraging your network within the developer and EPC community.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Marketing, Product, Commercial Operations) to facilitate sales cycles.
- Maintain comprehensive records of opportunities and customer details, including use case, timeline, next steps, and forecasting in our CRM.
- Work strategically with management to pinpoint emerging opportunities and challenges, providing actionable solutions.
- Be the internal voice of the customer, synthesizing field feedback to influence product direction and positioning.
