The Account Executive, Vertical Sales position is a key, hunter-focused sales role dedicated to generating new programmatic advertising revenue from in-house marketing teams and brands within targeted vertical markets. Reporting to a Sales Director in the B2B or EComm team, your efforts will be essential in driving customer acquisition and expanding our influence within the brand-direct segment.
StackAdapt embraces a remote-first model, welcoming candidates from across the U.S. Some travel may be required for client meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, pitch, and secure new platform sales deals with in-house marketing teams and brands, with a primary focus on acquiring new logos within assigned verticals (e.g., eCommerce, B2B).
- Develop and implement an outbound sales strategy to engage seasoned industry sales professionals within target accounts.
- Establish a robust pipeline directed at brand-direct prospects, utilizing various CRM tools to maintain strong coverage ratios and activity metrics.
- Collaborate with management, product, and solutions teams to understand client needs, co-create industry-leading vertical offerings, and ensure product specifications meet brand-direct requirements.
- Translate insights from the field into product strategy and innovations while advocating for customer interests within the organization.
- Create impactful, value-driven pitch decks and accompanying research to effectively close new business with executive-level prospects.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends, competitive dynamics, and the evolving needs of brand-direct clients in the digital media landscape.
- Work closely with dedicated StackAdapt Account Managers post-onboarding to guarantee a seamless transition and continued client success, identifying potential expansion opportunities.
