BlueScope Distribution is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to enhance our sales team based in Marsden Park. As a comprehensive provider of steel and aluminum products, processing, and service solutions, we cater to clients across diverse industries, ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification. At BlueScope Distribution, we empower our customers, enabling them to focus on their core strengths.
In this customer-centric role, you will cultivate strong, enduring partnerships, innovate sales strategies, and drive growth in revenue, margins, and market share within the Sheet & Coil and Framing sectors. Our customer base ranges from small businesses to large enterprises, and we collaborate with them to achieve excellence. Your Key Responsibilities
Operating from our Marsden Park location up to one day per week (with the remainder spent in the Sydney Metro area), your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying new business opportunities and expanding our reach with current customers.
- Collaborating with the sales team to enhance revenue, margins, and market share.
- Building and nurturing relationships with industry stakeholders, specialists, and new clients.
- Conducting research on key industry projects to identify future growth opportunities.
- Taking a leading role in preparing proposals, quotes, and tenders for the Sheet & Coil and Framing market.
About You
We seek a candidate equally comfortable in personal interactions and strategic sales planning. Ideal qualifications include:
- Experience in developing and implementing targeted sales and growth strategies in the steel industry.
- Established B2B sales experience.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong commercial awareness with a focus on pricing, margins, and profitability.
