Join Version 1 as an accomplished and results-oriented Account Manager within our UK Public Sector team. We seek a professional with a proven history of fostering senior relationships and identifying opportunities that drive revenue growth. This position is ideal for someone who not only safeguards existing business but actively expands it.
In this role, you will take charge of an established portfolio of public sector customer accounts, focusing on achieving sales and growth targets while ensuring exceptional customer service delivery.
As part of our successful team dedicated to UK Public Sector initiatives, you'll work alongside sales professionals who generate new business opportunities and respond to significant government tenders, as well as Account Managers who oversee existing account opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive account expansion by identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities within existing accounts, ensuring realization of expected revenue from contracted engagements.
- Manage a strategic 24-month account horizon for your customers, understanding their strategies, anticipating opportunities, and positioning Version 1 as their preferred partner.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels in line with company objectives.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with senior and executive stakeholders within your accounts, ensuring Version 1's visibility and influence at critical decision-making levels.
- Facilitate effective Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for your customers, ensuring actionable outcomes are followed through.
- Prepare, present, and confidently deliver Version 1's propositions to customers in both virtual and in-person settings.
- Contribute to bid strategies to maximize winning opportunities, ensuring the qualification process for customer sales opportunities and bids is thorough. Secure customer and partner endorsements, including case studies and press releases.
- Collaborate efficiently with various internal teams including Delivery, Partner Account Managers, and Commercial Operations to ensure seamless execution for our customers.
- Travel regularly to Version 1 and customer sites across the UK and Ireland to foster strong relationships.
