The Account Manager for NGS & SynBio at Twist Bioscience plays a crucial role in driving demand for our innovative products and ensuring revenue growth within their designated territory. This position is instrumental in formulating precise revenue forecasts, crafting strategic marketing initiatives, and leveraging the expertise of Twist team members to enhance brand visibility. The Account Manager will enable the executive team to effectively monitor business performance and support informed decision-making. It is essential for the candidate to stay informed about competitor offerings and commercial strategies, identifying and reporting their activities in a timely manner. Additionally, the Account Manager will gather customer insights on Twist products while pinpointing unmet customer needs that could lead to the development of groundbreaking new products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve set quarterly and annual revenue objectives.
- Provide timely and accurate revenue forecasts for the assigned territory.
- Build and manage pivotal relationships with both new and existing clients across various organizational levels.
- Design contingency and risk management strategies as required for their region.
- Negotiate and establish supply agreements to bolster both new and ongoing business initiatives.
- Collaborate with operations to streamline processes and reduce time to revenue.
- Keep the Twist SFDC CRM database updated with current information.
- Act as a representative of Twist at relevant trade expos.
- Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, relay customer feedback, and propose new product concepts to internal stakeholders.
- Utilize local market expertise, in collaboration with portfolio directors and product managers, to devise a strategic plan tailored to the country that delineates actions for key stakeholders to develop leads and opportunities.
- Partner with regional portfolio directors and marketing to create a marketing strategy aimed at increasing awareness and generating leads that contribute to revenue growth.
- Engage with channel partners to enhance their activities and assess the returns on their efforts.
- This role is based in Thailand, and the successful candidate must be able to travel to Vietnam for a minimum of 3-5 business days each month.
