About the Role:
As an Accountant II, you will apply accounting principles in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) guidelines to execute various accounting tasks.
What You Will Do:
- Manage and enhance one or more accounting systems including Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, and Revenue Reconciliation.
- Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations.
- Balance books and prepare financial statements including profit and loss, cash flow, income, and balance sheet.
- Monitor and create monthly reports on project revenues and expenditures.
- Maintain records of assets, liabilities, and all financial transactions.
- Assist in establishing processes to accurately track and report revenue in line with company policy.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in maintaining billing information within financial systems.
- Draft reports, procedure manuals, and accounting memos; respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Compile complex reconciliations and supporting documentation within specified deadlines.
- Create procedural documentation for implementations and projects, and train team members on new processes.
