Key Responsibilities:Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and appropriate coding within the accounting system (SAPB1), encompassing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Employee Expenses, and Purchase Orders.Manage the complete accounts payable cycle, including invoice entry, approvals, payment runs, and reconciliations.Maintain vendor records, ensuring supplier information is current and accurate.Resolve discrepancies in invoices and communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries.Reconcile supplier statements and investigate any purchase order discrepancies.Initiate ad-hoc and critical payments in the bank as requested.Ensure all accounts payable transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.

OrganOx is on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance department for a 14-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire accounts payable cycle, ensuring precise and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments. Furthermore, you will play an instrumental role in supporting an ERP system upgrade, facilitating a smooth transition and enhancing our financial operations.
Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will be crucial as you collaborate with various departments during system implementation and process enhancements. This is an onsite position based in Oxford, offering some flexibility.
