Join Acumatica as an Accounts Receivable & Collections Manager, where you will oversee the entire collections and payment application process. Your role is pivotal in ensuring timely payments, reducing delinquent accounts, and fostering strong relationships with our customers. Reporting directly to the Director of Revenue Accounting, this position is open to remote candidates across the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relations: Engage with customers to resolve payment issues, negotiate terms, and professionally handle disputes.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Supervise the accounts receivable portfolio to secure timely payments and minimize outstanding receivables.
- Payment Application Management: Oversee the payment application process.
- Collections Strategy: Design and implement effective collections policies and procedures to lower bad debt and enhance recovery rates.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on aging, collection trends, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and bad debt performance.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and train the collections team to fulfill departmental objectives.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with accounting, sales, and legal teams to address customer account issues and disputes.
