As an Accounts Receivable Clerk in our dynamic Fuel division, you will play a pivotal role in managing customer cash and sales ledgers across the UK, Ireland, and Europe. This fast-paced position is integral to our global Credit team, contributing directly to our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily banking and cash allocation processes, ensuring that collections teams have accurate and up-to-date customer balance information.
Resolve queries promptly by collaborating with colleagues in Financial Operations, Accounting & Finance, and local teams to address issues efficiently.
Maintain the Sales ledger to guarantee precise bad debt reporting and compliance with overpayment and write-off policies.
Prepare and contribute to monthly ledger reviews.
Conduct both simple and complex ledger investigations, assisting with allocation inquiries.
Support Accounting & Finance with bank reconciliations.
Manage Re-DD campaigns and credit notes.
Foster effective working relationships with various internal stakeholders, including finance teams and country collections managers.
Communicate risks clearly and in a timely manner.
Exhibit commercial awareness and assist broader business efforts in achieving growth objectives, while addressing complex ad-hoc queries.
