Responsibilities:Develop insurance liability models using GA Risk’s liability modeling platform.Effectively communicate findings and implications to the Risk management team and relevant stakeholders.Facilitate the onboarding of various Institutional transactions onto our Risk platform.Conduct liability stress tests from multiple perspectives (GAAP/Stat/Econ/Bermuda) and analyze both actuarial and market risks.Support the launch of new products and ensure risk models are consistently updated with rate changes and new product features.Perform validation and control reviews of actuarial and financial models, critically assessing methodologies and assumptions.Assist in the development and application of quantitative models and analytical tools that enhance the Risk function's ability to challenge existing risk management, modeling, and pricing practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline is required.5+ years of experience in a diverse life and annuity/financial or actuarial consulting firm.Professional designation in financial risk management, such as FSA/ASA or CFA is preferred.5+ years of experience in insurance modeling with a proven track record of modeling complex insurance products.Familiarity with insurance products (both life and annuities) is preferred.Prior experience in hedging or ALM is advantageous.Proficiency in Python programming is highly desirable.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, particularly in conveying technical concepts effectively.
