Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:Doctoral degree in nursing (or in progress) for teaching didactic courses.Master's degree in nursing for clinical instructor positions in the FNP track.Licensed and unencumbered registered nurse in the state of Minnesota or eligible for RN licensure in Minnesota.Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated enthusiasm for functional medicine/integrative health, transcultural nursing, or community health.Academic background and teaching experience in nursing education.Experience teaching in online, hybrid, and/or in-person formats.

The Nursing Department at Augsburg University is seeking dedicated and qualified applicants for adjunct faculty positions to teach both classroom and clinical courses within our Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) - Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program. These courses will be offered in both on-campus and clinical settings.
We have openings in three distinct focuses:
- Instructing didactic courses in a hybrid format, including advanced pharmacology, integrative primary care, and advanced pathophysiology.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to students undertaking their DNP scholarly projects.
- Conducting clinical courses, with a focus on site visits and supervising students in the clinical environment.
Instructors are responsible for teaching online and in-person courses, assessing student competency, and responding to student inquiries via email to support their academic success.
Each course will require a commitment of 10-12 hours per week for a duration of 15-16 weeks during the fall or spring semester.
