Provide expert counseling and guidance to program participants on effective job search strategies, personalized career advice, and training issues, while identifying and addressing any barriers to employment.
Monitor and track customer engagement to ensure they make the most of the program's offerings.
Manage daily interactions with customers, promptly addressing their concerns and developing action plans to enhance their satisfaction while maintaining clear documentation of all interactions.
Stay informed of various occupations and career paths to ensure effective customer placement and service recommendations aligned with their career aspirations.
Offer motivational support to customers throughout their job search journey.
Assess training needs and facilitate appropriate training solutions.
Conduct job readiness and job search workshops to enhance customer skills.
Implement strategies to re-engage customers post-training and assist them in securing employment.
Utilize the Case Management Model to effectively meet the needs of program participants.
Document and share customer success stories to highlight progress.
Review and critique resumes and documentation to ensure customer eligibility and effective processing.
Maintain accurate records and correspondence as required by program standards and the Program Director.
Develop and uphold policies and procedures for Career Advisement, while training team members on these guidelines.
Collaborate with the Career Advisor Coordinator to ensure timely task completion and support special projects, assisting team members as needed.
Prepare various documents, including charts and reports, while proofreading and editing correspondence as required, and maintaining filing systems.
