About the Role
We are actively seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to become part of our expanding team as After School Enrichment Educators.
Role Overview
This position centers on overseeing and engaging students during after-school enrichment activities. It is perfect for educators who thrive in dynamic environments and are devoted to fostering safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise students ranging from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) to 8th grade, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan, organize, and lead captivating recreational and enrichment activities.
- Encourage positive social interactions and promote teamwork among students.
- Utilize positive reinforcement strategies to effectively manage student behavior.
- Maintain precise attendance and incident records.
- Prepare and organize materials for activities, ensuring spaces are tidy and secure.
Preferred Expertise: We are particularly interested in instructors with experience in the following areas:
- Music: Music Theory, Vocal Training, Piano, Guitar
- Sports: Soccer, Basketball, Flag Football, Pickleball, Volleyball
- Dance: Hip-Hop, Breakdance, K-Pop, Ballet, Jazz Funk
- Performing Arts: Theatre, Acting, Improv, Musical Theatre
- Martial Arts: Karate, Jiu-Jitsu
- Languages: Spanish, Mandarin
- Wellness: Yoga, Meditation, Stretching
- STEAM: Robotics, Coding, Lego, STEM
Schedule: Monday – Friday; hours will vary according to program requirements (to be discussed in a meeting with our team).
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on program hours (to be discussed in a meeting with our team).
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Willingness and ability to complete 3 hours of online training.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
