Qualifications
Requirements:Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills or possess the capability to successfully transfer your qualifications through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process.Previous experience with safety equipment maintenance is a plus.Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.Strong customer focus, with a flexible attitude and willingness to undertake various reasonable duties as required.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with personnel at all levels.Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to Qantas Maintenance procedures.Familiarity with the regulatory obligations imposed on employees and employers by bodies such as CASA, FAA, and WorkSafe.Able to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.Willingness to adapt to evolving departmental needs.

In your new role as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) specializing in Structures or Mechanical, you will be an integral part of the Aircraft Support Workshop. Your responsibilities will include the repair, overhaul, and maintenance of aircraft Flight Control surfaces, as well as various components such as Engine Nacelle products and Pilot Seats for Qantas Group and our partner airlines.
The right candidate will have the opportunity to achieve product certification qualification (NLCS) after meeting a minimum qualification period, contingent upon performance and availability.
