Your Role as an Aircraft Systems Engineer
As an Aircraft Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing repairs and alterations, defining maintenance specifications, and evaluating new system technologies. You will oversee the technical airworthiness management of aircraft systems and components, specifically for Airbus and Embraer aircraft. Your expertise will support flight and technical operations, ensuring safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and respond to Airworthiness Directives (AD) to comply with FAA, ANAC, and other regulatory requirements.
- Assess aircraft systems Service Bulletins, modifications, and technical documents for safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving technical issues related to aircraft systems.
- Design and implement installations and upgrades of aircraft systems components to meet airworthiness and operational standards.
- Evaluate new aircraft systems technologies for their potential benefits to the airline's operational goals.
- Create technical documentation for modifications, repairs, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems.
- Secure regulatory approval for modifications and repairs performed on aircraft systems.
- Draft customized procedures for repairs and inspections that are not covered in existing manuals.
- Prepare engineering documents, such as Engineering Orders (EO), to provide technical guidance for maintenance actions aligning with Breeze's objectives.
