The Manager of Airport Experience & Operational Reliability will lead a dedicated team of Airport Duty Supervisors, ensuring a consistently delightful experience at our airports while upholding high standards of operational reliability and compliance. This pivotal role involves guiding the Supervisors on Duty and acting as the primary on-the-ground representative for Airport Standards & Learning and Airport Operations leadership within the Operations Control Center (OCC), coordinating with Dispatch, Flight Operations, and Inflight services.
Reporting directly to the Director of Airport Operations Standards and Learning, this position supports the entire airport experience, providing day-of operational support, assisting with investigations, monitoring resources, and collaborating with the Guest Service Training Department on initiatives aimed at enhancing the Guest Experience and operational excellence. Your Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor the Airport Supervisors on Duty, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
- Manage scheduling, workload distribution, and performance evaluations for the team.
- Oversee the Airport Duty Supervisor team in the OCC to ensure high-quality support for the Airport Operations Team.
- Act as the operational contact for day-of performance, reliability tracking, and support during irregular operations.
- Ensure compliance with FAA, TSA, DOT, and company standards across all airport operations.
- Analyze reliability data to identify trends and recommend proactive strategies.
- Support investigations and corrective actions in collaboration with the Airport Operations Team.
- Develop and maintain the Airport Operations Playbook, aligning with Airport Operations & Standards & Learning Teams to standardize processes and decision-making across all shifts.
- Collaborate with Airport Operations Standards & Learning leadership to create valuable tools and resources for Airport Team Members.
- Track and report performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
