RTE's Purchasing and Supply Chain Department is responsible for proposing and implementing the company's procurement and logistics policy amidst a backdrop of increasing investments in the public electricity transmission network. Our mission emphasizes the balance between expected technical-economic performance and environmental, social, and societal responsibility. Comprising around 200 professionals, our team is organized by areas of activity and located close to the territories we serve.
As part of the Purchasing and Supply Chain Department, you will join the Paris Purchasing Hub (covering the Normandy / Ile de France area), a close-knit team of about ten dedicated professionals.
You will be fully integrated into the activities of the hub, primarily focusing on procurement for services and works (excluding IT, telecom, and logistics) for the Ground Projects, Maintenance, Real Estate, and Logistics departments.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Enhancing the overall performance of the purchasing function
- Participating in the full procurement process, from need definition to contract finalization.
- Contributing to overall performance (quality, costs, deadlines, environmental and social impacts) while adhering to public procurement regulations.
Preparing and managing procurement files
- Analyzing, challenging, and formalizing technical needs with prescriptive teams.
- Assisting in defining procurement strategies and supplier selections.
- Conducting sourcing and identifying potential new suppliers.
- Managing consultations / tenders and contributing to negotiations.
Monitoring contract performance
- Tracking the execution of contracts and any discrepancies.
- Contributing to continuous improvement through internal and supplier feedback.
This apprenticeship will provide you with a comprehensive view of the purchasing profession, blending strategy, operations, and collaborative work with numerous internal and external stakeholders.
