Qualifications
Key Responsibilities of the ASB Officer:Deliver exceptional ASB and tenancy enforcement services, managing cases from initial report to resolution.Investigate incidents of ASB, harassment, domestic abuse-related tenancy breaches, and environmental nuisances.Collect evidence through interviews, witness statements, risk assessments, and home visits.Assess and manage risks, ensuring safeguarding concerns are identified and escalated as necessary.Apply relevant legislation, including the Housing Acts, ASB, Crime & Policing Act 2014, Environmental Protection Act 1990, and Equality Act 2010.Utilize various early intervention and enforcement tools, including mediation, behavioral agreements, and legal actions.Prepare legal documents, coordinate with solicitors, and represent the organization in court proceedings.Collaborate closely with partners, including Police, Social Care, Mental Health teams, and Community Safety Partnerships.Provide trauma-informed support to victims and witnesses throughout the lifecycle of cases.Maintain accurate case records and produce reports, statements, and performance data.Contribute to service improvements, policy development, and sharing best practices.
