Digital innovations are only effective when supported by robust IT architectures that streamline the system landscape and enable secure integration of external portals and cloud systems. We believe that platform architectures based on international standards are the key to success – manufacturers who struggle with our platforms will not have a place in our system landscape moving forward. At the core of our platform architecture are our API management platform and modern identity provider, which securely connect all systems. Often, we outshine conventional healthcare manufacturers in our technological advancements. These platforms are the backbone of our digital transformation and must be securely managed – that's where you come in.
Your responsibilities include:
- IT Operations – Our IT operations follow international ITIL standards. You will serve as the 2nd level support for our platforms, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently. For particularly challenging problems, you will engage 3rd level support from manufacturers and collaborate with our platform development team. You will coordinate application releases and security patches with manufacturers, IT teams, and relevant departments (testing, approval, go-live). Establishing effective monitoring systems will enable you to identify disturbances proactively before users are affected, and you will be able to perform simple administrative tasks independently.
- Foundation of Platform Architecture: API Gateway and Identity Provider – You will manage these pivotal components of our system landscape, ensuring they function seamlessly.
- Cloud Service Management – For applications and platform components hosted in the cloud, whether operated by us or third-party vendors, you will take on the role of service manager (coordinating responsibilities and SLAs, mediating between departments and providers, etc.). We take this responsibility seriously: utilizing cloud systems and managed services does not mean we can neglect them.
