If you have already begun your apprenticeship and are interested in enhancing your skills in a diverse and challenging industry, we encourage you to apply. This role is based in Wee Waa, New South Wales, with potential travel across our various sites in New South Wales and Queensland, which may require extended stays away from Wee Waa. A driver’s license, while not mandatory, will be highly valued.
As an Apprentice Welder, you will work closely with a qualified Engineering Fabrication tradesperson, gaining hands-on experience and TAFE training that will lead to a Certificate III in Engineering.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing tasks to meet competency standards effectively.
- Acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge to execute work orders supporting the R&M system.
- Adhering to project timelines.
- Participating in continuous improvement processes.
- Prioritizing safety for yourself and your colleagues.
- Ensuring all work complies with Australian Standards.
- Providing support to project teams.
- Following all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
