Key Responsibilities
As the Area Manager for Middle Mile operations at Meesho, you will lead sorting center activities during your shift and oversee the coordination of staff plans and operational schedules. You will be tasked with building a high-performing team that emphasizes safety, customer obsession, and employee engagement. Your role will involve developing and executing process quality and continuous improvement initiatives while promoting a robust culture of health and safety best practices. Additionally, you will contribute to cross-functional projects when necessary. A solid understanding of linehaul and vehicle planning is essential for this position.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• A minimum of a basic graduation degree is required.
• Proficiency in advanced MS Excel, including macros and pivot tables.
• Capability to prepare, report, and interpret extensive data sets.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 2 years of professional experience in supply chain and logistics, operations, and/or e-commerce.
• A minimum of 2 years leading a front-line operations team.
