Area Manager of Sanitation
Factor, a brand of HelloFresh, is searching for a dedicated Area Manager of Sanitation to lead and enhance the operations of our sanitation team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate directly with team members, providing coaching, guidance, and hands-on support to optimize productivity within the department.
As the Area Manager of Sanitation, you will play a crucial role in the success of Factor's Food Safety, Sanitation, and Hygiene initiatives. Your leadership will ensure that all sanitation procedures are executed with precision, contributing to a safe and compliant food production environment.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Directing and supervising sanitation staff in plant inspection and sanitation protocols.
- Planning and delegating tasks among team members and leads.
- Developing and adapting inspection tools to meet sanitation standards, while proposing improvements in procedures and equipment.
- Analyzing issues to determine appropriate actions within established best practices.
- Maintaining comprehensive records of inspections and reports.
- Investigating work discrepancies and advising on corrective actions across departments.
- Equipping employees with essential tools and training for optimal performance.
- Collaborating with production and quality assurance teams to ensure product safety.
- Fostering a positive work environment by maintaining discipline and morale among team members.
- Addressing personnel challenges effectively within your area of responsibility.
- Making recommendations for hiring, promotions, wage adjustments, and terminations, as needed.
- Reporting any food safety and quality concerns to the appropriate authorities.
