Role & Responsibilities
The Area Sales Manager is tasked with spearheading insurance sales via the agency and distributor network within a designated territory. This individual contributor role centers on cultivating and managing partnerships with agencies and distributors, consistently achieving sales targets, and playing a pivotal role in the company’s expansion in the insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve company-set sales targets for new business development and execute all mandated sales activities related to insurance in the assigned area.
- Develop and manage a monthly field plan aimed at fostering relationships with both new and existing customers within the territory.
- Boost market penetration by establishing and managing a robust network of retailers, dealers, distributors, and franchises to drive business growth.
- Monitor agent performance, analyze sales data, and implement strategies to enhance results.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents and key stakeholders to ensure long-term collaboration and loyalty.
- Coordinate and regularly submit sales reports and forecasts to the RSM/Management.
