The Aseptic Manufacturing Training Lead is tasked with the vital role of designing, implementing, and delivering comprehensive training programs for team members in the Aseptic Manufacturing department. This position ensures that all employee training profiles are accurately maintained within our training system, organizes training records, investigates any delayed training events, and reviews updates to training-related documentation. The Training Lead is committed to ensuring adherence to both internal and external AbbVie policies and procedures that influence the training program for the department. Additionally, this role collaborates with cross-functional teams to promote uniform training practices across operations and spearheads initiatives for continuous improvement to enhance training effectiveness and leverage new technologies to optimize the training experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement AbbVie’s Training Policy, processes, and procedures alongside regulatory training requirements at the site.
- Facilitate training sessions for new and current employees on essential cleanroom behaviors and best practices, including equipment intervention and sampling techniques.
- Support the rollout of global Aseptic Best Practices in relation to aseptic processes and training.
- Identify and manage continuous improvement projects to enhance current aseptic processes at the site.
- Monitor employees' aseptic gowning techniques and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct Gowning Training sessions (initial and recertification).
- Collaborate with Microbiology and Operations teams for Environmental Monitoring and Sanitization Training.
- Lead monthly shift touchpoints focusing on a rolling Aseptic refresher, targeting 15-20 minutes on 10 topics when semi-annual refresher training is not conducted.
- Conduct monthly Gemba walks with Aseptic MQA and site leadership.
- Dedicate 20% of time to Aseptic Auditing.
- Work with global Aseptic Trainers to develop and deliver targeted aseptic training based on site-specific needs.
- Provide support for all site-level aseptic training, collaborating with global staff to identify and implement additional training as necessary.
- Coordinate with department supervisors and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to schedule training on complex methods and techniques.
- Maintain training profiles for all trainees, ensuring that completed and verified training is logged in the training system and that records are filed appropriately.
- Periodically review and update training-related documents as necessary.
- Offer hands-on training for basic to advanced skills and techniques as required.
