Qualifications
Responsibilities: Collaborate with staff and volunteers to achieve annual special event goals.Plan, organize, and execute events to meet participant, sponsorship, and revenue objectives.Develop a comprehensive annual event calendar with specific deadlines for tasks.Engage committee leadership to ensure a continuity plan and maintain a 65% retention rate of volunteers on event committees annually.Evaluate special event schedules and explore new event opportunities quarterly with the Vice President of Development (VPD).Assist in identifying and soliciting major gift prospects in targeted geographic markets.Conduct research, write, and submit grant proposals with the guidance of the VPD.Manage Hamblen County Advisory Board activities and engagement.Develop the Hamblen Annual Campaign with direction from the VPD and CEO.Lead annual Foundation staff campaigns in assigned counties. Foundation Marketing: Oversee marketing and communication strategies for Foundation events, excluding Hamilton County.Ensure all marketing materials are cohesive with our brand, encompassing both print and digital formats.Draft and distribute press releases, serve as the media contact for event requests, and manage video projects in collaboration with production companies.
