As the Assistant Manager, Accountant in Asset Owner Solutions, you will be the key technical authority responsible for delivering excellence in complex fund accounting services. You will act as the main subject matter expert for the team, guiding technical decisions and driving innovative processes while offering authoritative insights on intricate client portfolios and advanced accounting frameworks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review fund accounting reports and other deliverables in accordance with established guidelines.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of fund accounting transactions, supporting the oversight of fund accounting operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address inquiries and issues, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and internal policies.
- Establish and uphold technical best practices while maintaining a thorough understanding of client-specific requirements.
- Lead initiatives for technical excellence and process innovation, developing technical standards and methodologies within the team.
- Oversee the accuracy of data presented in client reports and dashboards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and engage in career development discussions for direct reports.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform final reviews and sign-offs on fund accounting activities, document exceptions, and prepare error reports with proposed corrective actions.
- Coordinate with teams under AOS or clients regarding deadlines and deliverables, effectively managing workloads.
- Represent the team in cluster/client meetings, addressing complex client issues and transactions, making informed decisions and escalating as necessary.
- Review and approve standard operating procedures before implementation by team members.
- Monitor and resolve review comments and inquiries within agreed timeframes.
- Assist in client onboarding activities and manage any related change requests.
