Join the Domino's Team as an Assistant Manager!
As an Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients from delivery areas to the walk-in cooler, and preparing delicious products. You will also be tasked with receiving and processing telephone orders, conducting inventory, and maintaining necessary paperwork. Daily cleaning of equipment and the facility will also be part of your routine.
Training: Comprehensive orientation and on-the-job training will be provided.
Communication Skills: Effective communication is essential. You must be able to give and comprehend written instructions, and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to efficiently process orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions/Skills: You should possess basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide quickly and accurately. Making correct monetary change is essential. Proficiency in verbal, written, and telephone skills is necessary to take and process orders. Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements is also required.
Work Conditions: You will experience varying weather conditions when performing outside tasks such as trash removal. In-store temperatures may range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F and above in certain work areas. Be prepared for sudden temperature changes, food odors, commercial dust, and cramped quarters including the walk-in cooler. You will also work with hot surfaces/tools and sharp edges.
Sensing: The ability to talk and hear on the telephone, near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces are required.
Temperaments: You should be capable of directing activities, performing repetitive tasks, working both independently and in a team, handling stress, maintaining strict quality control standards, and making sound judgments.
Physical Demands: Most tasks are performed standing. Walking is generally for short distances, and paperwork can be completed while seated. Lifting bulk product deliveries, which may weigh up to 60 pounds, along with carrying trays and pushing dollies is part of the role.
