This team plays a critical role in enabling our Product Engineers to develop and deploy cutting-edge technologies.In this dynamic position, you will engage with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and tooling, taking the initiative to identify and resolve bottlenecks in our fast-paced AI environment.This hands-on senior individual contributor role (approximately level 5) offers you the opportunity to work within a growing team that is transitioning from enablement to direct execution, allowing you to significantly influence the scalability of our infrastructure in the coming year.ResponsibilitiesOversee and optimize Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, managing workloads, deployments, and production monitoring.Manage and enhance our AWS (and some GCP) cloud environments, ensuring a balance of reliability, cost-efficiency, and rapid deployment.Take ownership of our CI/CD systems (utilizing GitHub Actions on our self-hosted AWS runners) and drive continual improvements.Implement Infrastructure as Code practices with Terraform and Terragrunt.Enhance observability through Datadog, enabling teams to gain insights into their production systems.Collaborate closely with Product Engineers to deploy and monitor production services.Lead FinOps initiatives, including vendor management, cost allocation, and establishing financial feedback loops.Contribute to internal tooling, automation, and reporting platforms aimed at improving developer experience.Ideal Candidate ProfileStrong experience in cloud infrastructure management, particularly with AWS and Kubernetes.Proficiency in CI/CD methodologies and tools.Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
