We pride ourselves on being a hardworking, collaborative, and humble group dedicated to solving real-world problems.The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Product Designer to create thoughtful, high-quality experiences across critical areas of our product. You will drive design processes from start to finish, collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams, and contribute to enhancing Sparrow's design and delivery methodologies. As a senior individual contributor, you will take ownership of significant product areas, work with a high degree of autonomy, and help elevate the overall quality and consistency of our product.What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:Lead the end-to-end design of product features and workflows, from discovery through to UI design, interaction details, and final outcomes.Design for operational complexity by creating experiences that effectively address edge cases, regulatory nuances, and real-world processes without overwhelming users.Work with multiple personas to understand user goals and contexts, ensuring cohesive experiences across different user types and levels of expertise.Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to clarify problems, explore solutions, define project scopes, and deliver high-quality work efficiently.Utilize research and data effectively by conducting scrappy discovery activities (interviews, workflow mapping, prototype testing), synthesizing insights, and iterating on designs.Contribute to maintaining design quality and consistency by applying and evolving design patterns and systems that promote speed and coherence.Communicate effectively by sharing design rationale, tradeoffs, and decisions to foster alignment across the Engineering, Product, and Design teams.As an early senior member of the design team, you will play a vital role in shaping the product's evolution and user experience.
