Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager, you will take charge of the store's operations and staff in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring excellence in every aspect of the store's performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in maintaining store cleanliness and organization, both on the sales floor and stockroom.
- Implement sales promotions effectively and ensure signage is displayed on time.
- Oversee register operations, ensuring compliance with store policies.
- Ensure timely execution of visual merchandising and promotional displays.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to maintain effective merchandise presentation according to company standards.
- Understand and address customer merchandise needs, adjusting inventory accordingly.
- Assist with markdowns and inventory transfers to optimize stock levels.
- Lead initiatives to drive sales and profitability, exceeding store goals.
- Communicate operational goals and directives to the team to maximize contributions towards the sales plan.
- Support the Store Manager in evaluating team performance against key performance indicators.
