Join Our Team as an Assistant Manager - GL Accounting
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager for our General Ledger Accounting team. This role plays a crucial part in overseeing our daily accounting operations, focusing primarily on ensuring a seamless month-end close process and fostering cross-functional collaboration to guarantee compliance and accuracy in our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the General Ledger operations, including managing accruals, prepayments, lease accounting, vendor expenses, and other financial costs.
- Maintain and manage the month-end close calendar and associated checklists to ensure timely reporting.
- Facilitate balance sheet reconciliations with thorough SOX-compliant documentation.
- Conduct reviews of accounting transactions entered into NetSuite.
- Collaborate with auditors and both internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient audits and mitigate any potential escalations.
- Perform balance sheet and income statement flux analysis, delivering actionable insights for improved financial performance.
Tools and Systems:
- Proficient in NetSuite or similar leading ERP systems.
- Familiarity with reconciliation tools will be considered an asset.
