The Assistant Manager, Solutions plays a pivotal role in spearheading the creation, execution, and rollout of tailored logistics solutions designed specifically for e-commerce platforms and retail businesses. This position demands close collaboration with various departments—including Operations, Finance, Commercial, Technology, and Network Planning—to ensure the successful delivery of scalable, customer-focused logistics products that enhance both commercial performance and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and adept problem solver with a robust background in logistics, skilled in managing complex solutions while aligning diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Development & Launch
- Craft and deploy customized logistics solutions encompassing ground and air transportation, customs processes, and supply chain optimization.
- Oversee the complete solution lifecycle—from initial requirement gathering through to deployment and subsequent support.
- Ensure that solutions align with customer expectations, operational capabilities, and financial objectives.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Coordinate closely with Operations, Finance, Technology, and Network Planning teams to develop efficient and scalable logistics procedures.
- Engage with the Commercial team to comprehend client requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and successful implementation of solutions.
3. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Utilize qualitative insights and quantitative data to inform solution decisions.
- Collect stakeholder feedback to pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Lead structured discussions for problem-solving to foster clarity, decision-making, and accountability.
- Champion ongoing improvement initiatives to elevate outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Track progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective measures.
4. Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Work in tandem with the Regional Solutions team to ensure local operations align with regional strategies, frameworks, and priorities.
- Encourage a culture of innovation, teamwork, and excellence.
- Mentor and guide team members involved in solution development.
- Contribute to the establishment of best practices and standard operating procedures.
