Role Overview
In the capacity of Indirect Assistant Procurement Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing the procurement process for goods and services not intended for resale. This role entails ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of items across critical categories, including but not limited to Marketing, IT, Professional Services, Store Design, and Visual Merchandising. You will collaborate closely with the Procurement Manager and Head of Department on various projects and engage with different departments to support the overarching procurement strategy, contributing to the company's achievements.
We seek a proactive individual with substantial indirect procurement experience, adept at navigating a fast-paced environment—ideally within a digitally advanced industry or online retail space. The successful candidate will manage global support initiatives and oversee multiple ad-hoc projects. Previous experience in marketing procurement is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct spend mapping analysis for all indirect expenditures, providing the Procurement Manager with insights and opportunities for cost savings.
- Generate and maintain procurement reports, encompassing supplier performance, cost analysis, and contract statuses.
- Ensure all procurement operations adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Manage ESG initiatives with suppliers, including Ecovadis audits and improvement management actions.
- Negotiate contracts and establish relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
