Qualifications
What We Are Looking For:DEC in graphic design or equivalent training.1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, with experience in instructional design, product design, or user experience considered an asset.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Adobe XD), as well as Microsoft Office.Strong ability to translate complex information and guidelines into clear, intuitive, and engaging visual instructions.Attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Adaptability and openness to change in a collaborative, evolving environment.Interest in toys, user experience, and emerging design trends.Team spirit, energy, professionalism, and independence.Constant desire to improve and learn.

Our brand design team is responsible for creating, developing, and producing innovative visual communication strategies that support our products across multiple touchpoints. Within this team, the Playbook Design function plays a vital role in crafting the consumer experience by translating product intentions, assembly steps, and brand design into clear, attractive, and intuitive manuals and educational materials. We are currently seeking an energetic, passionate, creative individual with a keen eye for detail who can manage moderately complex projects in designing instruction guides for an associate designer role. Reporting to the packaging manager, this position involves close collaboration with cross-functional partners to support the development and implementation of high-quality user guides.
Your Impact:
- Design and develop instruction manuals that clearly communicate assembly steps, product features, and product intent.
- Collaborate with product design, marketing, brand design teams, and cross-functional partners to enhance the overall consumer experience.
- Translate technical requirements and product specifications into clear, intuitive, and visually appealing instructions.
- Prepare and present instruction booklet documents for validation and approval.
- Manage timelines and ensure adherence to production milestones with precision and consistency.
- Adapt to new technologies, trends, and advancements in graphic design.
