As the Associate Director, Global Study Start-Up Transformation Lead, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and quality of Global Study Start-Up (SSU) business processes. This position requires exceptional project management and communication skills to facilitate a successful transformation, leveraging AI and automation technologies. You will support the Director in developing training plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and comprehensive documentation.
This position is hybrid, based out of the North Chicago office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transformation Planning & Execution: Collaborate in the development and implementation of an extensive training plan with clear timelines and milestones, ensuring a smooth transition of SSU processes to meet global business needs. Foster a culture of learning through best practice sharing and continuous improvement using innovative methods and performance analysis.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ascertain their needs and expectations, maintaining effective communication to support the Director in managing these relationships.
- Vendor Selection: Contribute to the vendor selection process by assessing potential vendors’ capabilities and compatibility with organizational requirements, assisting in contract negotiations.
- Project Coordination: Aid the Director in overseeing the transformation project, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, while identifying and addressing risks throughout the process.
- Process Documentation: Collaborate with internal teams to document current SSU processes, workflows, and SOPs, recommending enhancements to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
- Change and Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies for change management and risk mitigation, providing training and support for SSU operational roles as they adapt to new responsibilities.
- Performance Monitoring: Assist in defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of offshoring hubs for SSU processes, monitoring outcomes and implementing corrective actions as required.
- Automation Development: Drive initiatives to enhance automation within SSU processes, increasing efficiency and reducing manual workload.
